OVERTON & RHOSSILI

South Gower
Guided Hiking on Gower
THE WALK:

This is a twelve mile circular route along some of Gower’s most dramatic coastline. The walk takes us to the pretty little village of Rhossili where we will catch sight of one of Gower’s most iconic features The Worm’s Head. Terrain covered includes cliff top and grassy paths and farmland.

FACILITIES:

There are no facilities at the start of the route, however at the halfway point of Rhossili there are toilets, a pub, café and small shop, these are the only facilities along the route.

WILDLIFE:

The limestone sea cliffs are home to many sea birds including guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes and many types of gull. There are wild ponies that live on the Gower Commons which are extremely hardy animals, living in herds and running free.
