RHOSSILI'S UPS AND DOWNS

South Gower
Guided Hiking on Gower
THE WALK:

This is a three mile circular walk on the Gower Peninsula which starts and ends at the pretty little village of Rhossili. The cliffs of Rhossili overlook what is possibly Gower's most famous feature, The Worms Head. The terrain covered includes grassy paths, cliff tops, field paths and lanes.

FACILITIES:

There are toilets, small shops, a cafe and a pub in the village; there are no other facilities on the route.

WILDLIFE:

The limestone sea cliffs are home to many sea birds including guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes and many types of gull. There are wild ponies that live on the Gower Commons which are extremely hardy animals, living in herds and running free.
