Brecon Beacons
THE WALK:
This is an eight mile circular walk in the wilderness that is the heart of the Brecon Beacons. As well as climbing the three peaks of Fan Llia, Fan Dringarth and Fan Nedd we will pass alongside the Bronze Age standing stone of Maen Llia.
FACILITIES:
There is a pub in the nearby village of Ystradfellte. There are no facilities along the route.
WILDLIFE:
This area of the Beacons is home to many common varieties of birds, wildflowers, mosses and fungi.

OUR TIPS...
The terrain is generally good underfoot although the path to the standing stone of Maen Llia can be very wet. Hiking boots and gaiters are recommended.
